The single-vehicle berpenumpang. Branson said Virgin Oceanic seabed jet can carry riders during the day on the deep seafloor. He estimated the cost for a single trip to the seafloor trench about 10 million U.S. dollars (about USD 86 billion).
Virgin Oceanic will undertake five dives in the next two years. The first target is approaching the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of 36,000 feet, or about 11 kilometers from the sea surface.
After that, Branson is also planning to do it yourself on a second occasion to the Puerto Rico Trench in the Atlantic Ocean. Trench is the deepest point in the Atlantic Ocean with depths of more than 8 kilometers.
Other areas to be visited is the Molloy Deep in the Arctic Ocean, North Pole, South Sandwich Trench, and Diamantina in the Indian Ocean.
