ZMP RoboCar Introduces Linux-Based Operating System

Tokyo is aggressively conduct robotics research. Includes a robotics company called ZMP which recently introduced Robocar Linux-based operating system to be used to test the Autonomous Auto Technologies.

Robocar has a size of 17 inches and is bundled with the AMD Geode LX800 as processor, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, stereo CCD cameras, 8 IR sensor, 3 accelerometer, gyroscope and laser beams. Robocar are in the price range $ 7,000 or about 70 million dollars. Robocar produced quite limited, for this year only produced about 200 units.
